Sleep Walking

What do you do when the baby wakes up 45 minutes into his nap and can’t fall back asleep because he’s stuffy from yet another cold (gotta love how thoughtful Amélie and Charles are when it comes to sharing germs)?

You make the most of a beautiful day, stick him in the woven wrap, secure a hat onto his head and go out for a nice long walk.  Win-win!

  1. Awwww what a sweet picture!! I hope you’re going to print it out and frame it!! A perfect example of when life gives you boogers, make….ummm, I didn’t think that one all the way through! You know what I mean! 😀

      1. Yeah that’s what I was going to say…. I wasn’t going to make some kind of juvenile booger joke…..sure I wasn’t…..really…..okay I thought of some gross booger jokes. 😀 Hope the little guy is feeling better so you don’t need to take the ice roads to the outpost for medicine! LOL 😀

      2. Gross booger jokes would have definitely worked-sometimes, I feel like a total child (I still have trouble suppressing a laugh when I fart). The ice road! Hahaha! I guess I’ll have to round up the Huskies to pull me to the outpost soon.

  2. Haha awww! That’s such a cute little hat. I’m sorry he’s sick. Sleep doesn’t come easily to those with stuffy noses, especially babies! Glad you found a way to make do with the failed nap 🙂 Today has been beautiful here in Georgia, as well!

      1. That’s so common. The don’t have our stamina. Mine falls asleep every evening on the couch and sleeps for two or three hours if I let him. It’s like, dude you got 8 hours of sleep, do you need 3 extra every evening??
