- I’m seriously thinking about participating in NaNoWriMo this year. Wish me luck!
- Tonight, we are eating a Shepard’s pie that my mom made. Doesn’t food always taste better when prepared by your mom?!?
- Last Friday, we watched Now You See Me. I really enjoyed it!
- The little guy is so cranky today. All he seems to be able to do while at home is cry, whine and scream. Thankfully, he wasn’t like that at daycare.
- I am late in a few posts. For instance, I’ve received two wonderful postcards and haven’t posted them yet. I’ll be getting to that this week.
- The three-day weekend that we just had was wonderful, I’d definitely be willing to permanently have three days off in a row.
- Halloween is coming up. I can’t wait to dress up Charles. He’ll be dressed up as a video game character (but I’m not telling you which one :P)
- I think I’m going to have my car checked; my speedometer wasn’t working today…
- Right now, we’re nearing the end of Fall. It is absolutely my favorite season. It’s so pretty with the trees that are a whole bunch of colours!
- Did I ever mention that I was a BzzAgent? I’ve only done one campaign so far, but I’m really looking forward to doing some more reviews in the future.
#5 – haha, I’m late in *many* posts!
Good luck for NaNoWriMo!
😛 It used to be that I would start a post and finish it (preferably in the same day), nowadays, I have a graveyard of unfinished posts in my draft section plus other posts that are planned in my head and I just can’t seem to get them out.
And thanks, I reckon I’ll need all the luck I can muster 😀
Must be something in the air with the cranky kids. Nanowrimo sounds interesting what is it?
NaNoWriMo is: National Novel Writing Month. It starts on November 1st. The goal is to produce a 50 000 word novel in one month.
Woah! ! Good luck with that!
Hehe, thanks 🙂
I wish my mom could cook for me every day! Mmmmm. To have somebody else having the kitchen smell so yummy with me not lifting a finger!
I know! There’s nothing quite like mom’s cooking ;). I agree that it even “awesomer” when we’re not the mom who’s doing the cooking.
Enjoy NaNoWriMo!! Maggie has been doing the Young Writer’s Program version of for the last few years and can’t wait to get started this year. 🙂 She averages 10-15 thousand words in her stories. 😉
Sorry about Mr. Cranky-Pants – Samuel has been throwing himself (literally) on the floor when he doesn’t get what he wants this week…always fun. lol
It’s so cool that Maggie participates! I’m eager to see what I’ll be able to do, but I’m not putting any pressure on myself; I want to have fun with it.
Too bad Samuel is being melodramatic too. I guess it’s good that he’s expressing himself even if it’s not always fun to hear.
I just received your card by the way. Thank you so much!
Well, shoot! I was hoping the card would have arrived in time. 🙄 I wasn’t sure how long it’d take to get there, though. haha
Yeah, “expressing himself”…that’s one way to describe it!
mmmmmm shepard’s pie! yumm
I know! I hadn’t had any in a long time so it made it even more delicious 😉
Oh man, what’s your recipe!? Would love to see/make it!!
