- I want to take the time to thank three amazing bloggers for some award nominations. Valerie, Cheila and Tami nominated me for the Liebster, Cramm and Blogger Recognition Award respectively. I haven’t had time to post yet, but I’m working on them!
- I just realized that Elliot hit the 9 month mark yesterday. How did that happen?
- Today, we’ve got a packed morning. We’re in need of changing the windows to our house so my husband and I are going window shopping (quite literally ha!) after driving the kids to daycare.
- Tomorrow is Elliot’s 9 month well visit. I really love his doctor (who’s actually not a pediatrician but my GP). She’s fantastic and has taken Charles and Amélie as well. I am very happy because I’ve never been satisfied with the previous pediatrician.
- Last weekend, Charles went to a sugar shack with my sister and her boyfriend. He slept over at her place on Friday evening, then, the next day, took the subway and a coach bus to get there. He was ecstatic because he loves the guy so much!
- I just ordered a steam mop to replace the Swiffer and traditional mop we have. I am ridiculously excited over the purchase and can’t wait to try it out. I’m certain it’ll make my life a lot easier.
- On Sunday I ran my first transition run. Considering I ran twice as long as I should have by accident, it went really well. I was following the advice to run at 180 strides per minute, but will have to tone it down as it is too quick to be a sustainable pace for me currently. I have to say though, my calves were on fire yesterday and they’re still sore today. I’m eager to see how today’s run will go.
- I’m not sure what I want to eat for supper tonight. What are you guys eating?
- I had my first taste of matcha tea on Sunday. It was peach-flavoured, it was iced and it was yummy! I’m seriously considering buying some to make at home.
- Over the weekend, we went to the library to get some new books. I’m so happy because I’m rediscovering my love of reading. I picked up the second tome of the Deathnote manga. What are you currently reading?
What’s on your mind this Tuesday? Feel free to comment of link up to a random thought post of your own!
New mops are awesome! Save the old mop handle to use for Broomstick Lace Crochet!!! Tonight is going to be what I call ‘gross dinner night’ Hubby and daughter love sloppy joes – FROM A CAN! I have tried to make a healthier home made sloppy joe recipe but they outright rejected it. So I throw my hands in the air – fix them their slop – and plop some salad on their plate so I will be able to sleep tonight. On the plus side – easy dinner prep tonight! 😀
Gross dinner night – hehehe. I’ve never even eaten sloppy joes. I should probably try eventually. Easy dinner prep is always a good thing though!
Ok I admit it – it’s gross but I like it too, fortunately we only have gross dinner night once every couple of months. Hamburger Helper anyone? That one I CANNOT get behind!! 😀
Oh my Godddd la face et le regard de Charles sont priceless!
Je sais, il est tellement heureux dans son coeur!
Aww, that photo of Charles is so sweet! 🙂
And those shoes – how interesting!!
I hope his appointment goes well, Elizabeth’s 9 month visit is next Wed. I know, I can’t believe it’s been that long already since their births!
I made a new barbeque chicken last night, it was fantastic and I’ll be making it frequently, it was so easy and good. 😀
I’m reading a cozy mystery, some books on cognitive behavioral therapy, and a few on happiness. 😉
He loves my sister’s boyfriend so much! The appointment did go well, thanks. And yes, times flies, I’m seriously in shock.
